Georgia has standards for if you qualify, and if you have even nominal income, you likely will be above the cutoff, which is based on the very low numbers for the federal poverty line. Realistically, most people really can't afford lawyers, so, bad as it sounds, you may need to borrow, sell things, work an extra job, mow neighbor's yards, or the like.
