Legal Question in Criminal Law in Georgia

October 5 of 2006, I was arrested for trafficking of methamphetamines. Stipulation of my bond was that I go to rehab within 24 hours. I completed rehab and stayed on for an additional two months to assist other drug addicts in their recovery. When I went to court, I signed a first offenders and went to prison for a total of 2 1/2 years. I was also fined $15,000 to be paid to the state of Georgia. I am currently on probation and have to pay the rest of my fine off by August 2016. I still owe $9000 and am concerned of what will happen if I cannot have it paid off by that time. I have not been in trouble for anything since my arrest. I've maintained a job my entire time on parole and probation. I've made my payments to my probation officer and for my monthly fine on time every month. I received my GED while incarcerated. I am making enough money just to survive and it is all legal but difficult. Is there anything I can do to help my situation? I'm afraid that after doing the right thing for 10 years I face prison again because of my first offenders and not being able to come up with $9000 legally.

IF (and that is a big IF) what you write is correct, the judge will NOT violate your probation because of inability to pay.
