Legal Question in DUI Law in Georgia

Minor possession of Alcohol

My son was arrested in the spring of 'o7 for minor possession of Alcohol. He wasn't in a car and did not have possession, but he was drunk. He missed the opportunity for pre-trial resolution because he missed a financial deadline. Now he is arraigned to appear in early December for what they term pre-trial kickout. What does this mean?
