Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Im 16 in the state of Georgia, living with a mother and her girlfriend who have both been physically and mentally abusive over the past six years. I feel thaf it is in my best interest if I am removed from her care. My question is what steps do I need to take in order to be removed from her home and placed into the care of a close family friend that is more than willing to take me in and have complete responsibility for me. Is this possible without parental consent?

The answer has not changed since you asked the same question 3 hours ago and got the answer. That answer was:

Emancipation in Georgia is VERY rare, especially at age 16. The few times it happens are mostly with 17 year olds. And showing that someone else will take care of you is the OPPOSITE of what you must show. To be emancipated you have to prove that you can financially care for yourself without help, which almost no one at 16 can do, and also show a very high level of maturity. Emancipation is NOT a way to pick and choose who will take care of you. If you are being abused, speak with a school counselor, who will be required to report that to DFCS for investigation.
