Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Can a 17 year old legally move out in the state of Georgia? If not, if a 17 year old leaves because they want to move out, and they know they have a place to stay and all of that, will the authorities do anything about it? Would I be considered a runaway?

No you can't move until age 18. And anyone who takes you in can be arrested and jailed for either kidnapping or interference with custody. Surely you wouldn't do something foolish to get others arrested!
