Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My 77 year old roommate (no relation to me) has been like a grandmother towards my 5 year old since she was a year old, and we have been really butting heads lately as far her dislike for my boyfriend and my parenting style. Recently I was thinking that it might be time to leave, and find a new place to live that isn't so toxic, and yesterday her son came to me, and I mentioned it, and he told me that it would turn into a fight, that his mother would want to take me to court to ensure that my boyfriend and I never have full custody of my child. People keep saying that she has no legal leg to stand on, but I want a lawyer to tell me that.

Are you saying she wants to go to court to try to get custody? I am not sure what her intentions are so do not know how to respond.
