Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

we just went through a bench trial to modify alimony based on meretricious relationship and change in circumstances for the petitioner... the respondent was also charged with fraud and charged with contempt. The verdict came in and there was a ruling on the alimony modification but there was zero mention in any capacity of the fraud and contempt charge is that normal? what does that mean?

What happened is that when you do a case without a lawyer, things go wrong. A lawyer would have told you that a contempt and a modification are NOT done in the same case.
