Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My brother and his wife are going though an ugly divorce. She is now telling people that my daddy isn't my "real Dad" she says she is doing this because it shows the kind of women my mom really is. I am a 29 year old married woman with two kids who are to young to understand the matter of DNA. I will one tell them just as mom and dad told me but when they can understand and when I am ready. But with her telling everyone who will hear her I may have to tell them now just to prevent it coming form a stranger unless there is a way to stop her. Can I do anything here? This is very stressful and painful.

This isn't a legal problem. Do what most people other than you do with gossip-mongers like her. Ignore her. Most people know that there is either no truth is such babbling, and disbelieve it, or don't respect people who babble that way. If it is stressing you, get counseling if you cannot ignore it.

There is no law protecting us against rude speech or a legal claim - even this bad - as long as it is true.
