Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My child's father has shown no interest I'm being in his sons life whatsoever. My son is 1 and a half now and he is all of a sudden pestering an old coworker and saying he wants to see him.

I attempted to let him be in my sons life when he was still a few months old, on the condition that he would help out financially and he refused saying the child wasn't his, and threatened to have my son taken from me if I pursued child support from him.

Now, he's all of a sudden decided to want to be in his life because he saw a picture of him on a friends Instagram. He has even threatened to show up at my house because "there is not a restraining order" (his words)

I do not trust this man. He left shortly after I found out I was pregnant and we weren't even in a relationship a month before I got pregnant.

There is no legal documentation anywhere that says he is the father.

Can he do anything? Can he get visitations through the courts? I do not want him near my son.

The father has no right to custody or visitation at this time. He would have to file to legitimate and in that action request visitation rights. At that time you could request child support. If you have any documentation, such as text messages or emails, showing you reached out to him or you requested support, print those out. If he pursues an action to legitimate, you may want to have them as evidence. If he does file something, you should retain an attorney to assist you.
