Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My ex-girlfriend had her child removed from custody. The judge said it was because she was involved in a meretricious relationship. I did not live in her home I stayed over a few times but that was it. How can a judge say we were in a meretricious relationship?

Because you were in one (the judge has to determine how often you staying there mattered). I am sure her lawyer warned her against you staying over. Her ignoring that advice caused the consequences, with your "help."
