Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

Georgia Custody Laws..

My ex and I just finished up the paper work on our divorce and I signed them thursday under those conditions.. Satuday morning she tells me that shes moveing to Illinoise, She has primary physical custody and I have full and liberal visitation. And we share joint Legal custody.. can she take him without my permission due to the fact we would both have to drive 6 hours just to meet in the middle.(As per our divorce papers). It does not specify any limitations in liveing areas. But its totally impractical for her to move. Even her parents want her to stay here. Theres NO real finacial reason for her to move other then to be with her ''frinds''. And the child (6 year old male)would be removed from the only life he's know and away from both grandparents, hers and mine, which he sees weekly as well as my self. I myself have no record or history reason NOT to get custody.. I tried my hardest to be nice yet she keeps wanting more ..and because shes not ''happy here'' and feels no one cares for her..that shes not happy so her moveing would make her happy and thats whats in the best interest of the child! But theres no reason that I couldn't keep him here. HELP! PLEASE! I can understand her being happy, but not at our sons expence. Thanks

Re: Georgia Custody Laws..

Only the terms of the divorce/custody decree would apply. Not what you think is impractical.
