Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

me and my ex husband have joint custody of my son, when he started school we couldn't agree on what county to put our son in. he lives in one couty and I live in another about 45 min apart. he took me to court and the judge rulled for him to go to his county schools because they were better. we had a split week visitation but with him going to school 45 min away I was unable to get him to school on time and get my other children to school without someone always being late so he stays all week with his day and I get him every weekend except the first weekend of the month. I have a 16 yr old son who lives with me. my ex will not let my son that stays with him during the week stay with me during the summer. what should I do?

If you want to try and change things, you hire a lawyer and file to modify visitation (assuming the lawyer sees grounds to do so - your post didn't clearly show any).

The prior order should have addressed the division of summer. If he is refusing to follow the order, he is in contempt. If summer was not addressed or you wish to modify and provide more summer for you due to the fact you cannot get your son to school, you need to file a modification. I suggest you take your prior order and documents in and have the case reviewed by an attorney to see what avenue you should take, if any.
