Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

I want to make sure that upon my inability to care for my minor child by either illness or death that my child go to a specific person that is not family. I want to make sure that my legal family will have no recourse and be able to take my child from the people I and my child choose to have them be guardians of. Is there any specific form beyond what is written in my will that I should file for the state of Georgia?

You can state your preferences, however firmly, but children are not property to be bequeathed in a will. Family members can still contest and Judges will consider the bests interests of the child.
