Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My x husband is paying arrearages on child support and alimony and medical and college. There is no written order of things because we decided to just leave the IDO running until he gets paid up on all that he owes. What do I alocate these large sums of money to first or is it my decision? I'm out 20,000 in medical expenses as well as college and would like the money he is giving me to go towards paying me back all of that before collecting on alimony. I'm sure his tax forms will not match mine as he's going to save up front but the money owed for both college and medical are all past due as well as the alimony and I can't pay taxes on the alimony without getting back the money I've spent first.

Without looking at your documentation and prior order, this is impossible to answer. You need to take everything in and meet with an attorney.
