Fmla from a counselor

Can I use a counselor's signature for my FMLA. He has a PHD. I have a psychiatrist but he charges $150 to fill out paperwork.

Who are you trying to satisfy with a signature? If it is your employer, consult them and find out first what they require, then your question can better be answered. I don't have enough details to guide you in the right direction.
