Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

How difficult is it to win a civil lawsuit case against someone for slander & emotional distress? What type of evidence is usually needed for this kind of lawsuit, or is he said , she said heresay enough in court? If the person filing the lawsuit is in a position of leadership within a political organization does that affect anything?

Yes, any lawsuit can be hard to win. Rather than expect us to answer an open ended question about all the kinds of evidence that is needed, the best option is to go to a lawyer to discuss the evidence that actually exists.

If a lawsuit has been filed against you, consult with an attorney right now. Do not wait. Do not try to be cute and play street lawyer. Go hire a lawyer like a normal, civilized person in this society.

Good luck.

Since you have been sued, you have a legal emergency. Shut your computer, pay and retain a lawyer and take this very seriously.
