Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

My girlfriend and I purchased a car together in which we paid cash therefore the car has no liens on it.The car is jointly owned by both of us as both our names are on its title.(By the way the state in which all of this has occurred is Georgia)My girlfriend has recently left me and taken this car to where she originally lived before I met her four hours away and I am stuck without transportation as this car were our only means of transportation. Can you please give me all legal options that I have concerning this matter?

By now you see what a huge mistake it is to buy a car or house with someone with whom you have no legal relationship. You have no more rights to the vehicle than she does, and most likely any legal remedy you may have against her (such as to force her to sell and split the money) would cost more than a decent used car. Be adults about it and contact her to see if she will buy you out for something. She won't be able to sell or register it. Be willing to take less than half value and move on. This is the cost of the initial mistake.
