Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

I was incarcerated on a probation warrant for nonpayment. The PO had my father pay 600 to release my hold and drop the warrant. When he paid she immediately dropped the hold and withdrew the warrant. The county jail held me 4 more days due to their negligence or that of the PO. Neither will take responsibility and I lost my Job becasue i want released until 2 hours after my shift began at work and they claim it is an immediate termination. Is there anything legally i can do about this?

A caution: although Ralph said "yes", the more likely answer is no, depending on the details, given the relatively short time involved. Had it been 4 weeks rather than days I'd agree with him. I'd still suggest seeing a lawyer as the details matter here.
