Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

The neighbors had some contractors over to cut down some tress. As they were leaving, one the them urinated in front of my house and my daughter and I both saw this. I addressed him and he confessed. I called his owner who rudely just dismissed us. I called the police who did nothing about this. I live in GA. Isn't this against the law in most states? Also the worker said he wasn't authorized to work in the US.

To answer your question, urinating in public is a misdemeanor in most states and is usually punishable by a small fine or communtiy service. It is a law that is only rarely enforced. You have confronted the offender, notified his employer (I assume that when you said his "owner", you meant his employer) and contacted the local police. You have done your civic duty. You listed your question under "General Civil Litigation". I doubt that any civil litigation attorney would pursue this on a contingent fee basis; and on an hourly fee basis, it would likely cost you much more than you would recover. However, you might contact a local attorney for a consultation as to whether it is worth pursuing further.
