Legal Question in Health Care Law in Georgia

I am refinancing my but rediagnosed with cancer. My loan officer told me I had to tell him each time I would be in the hospital. Is this in violation of HIPAA?

HIPPA certainly does not prohibit you from speaking to anyone you want about your medical issues, and it does not prohibit people from asking you a question. It is your choice to answer.
