Legal Question in Immigration Law in Georgia

I am married to US citizen but never got green card. I have applied for green card

once but it was returned to me because some information were missing from me.

Then I did not reaply. Does this mean that I abandoned my case? I will divorse my husband

this year and want to live in US. Would I have problem in the future if I will get married again and aply for green card?

How do I find out what immigration know about my first marriage?

If you did not re-file after your case was returned to you, your petition is no longer valid and you would have to reapply for your green card. If you marry a U.S. Citizen in the future and you entered the country with inspection you may apply to adjust your status to apply for a green card while in the United States.
