Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

Employer-funded Health Insurance

My husband's employer has a self-funded health insurance plan. We have recently found out that no claims are being paid (not just for us, but for any/all employees). Payment for all premiums were automatically deducted from his paycheck. What can we do to get the medical bills paid?

Re: Employer-funded Health Insurance

Demand payment from him and if he doesn't pay, file a lawsuit. Depending on the amount, you may be able to sue without an attorney in small claims (magistrate) court.
