I worked for someone who wrote me a check that bounced. What do I need to do to

I worked for someone that wrote me a check for my work. the check bounced. I got my aunt to cash it. I need to get the money back to pay her because she gave the money. please help.

If the person who wrote the check has not responded to your demands, I would suggest retaining counsel to write a letter demanding payment. If they still do not respond, you may file suit without counsel if the amount your are seeking is less than $15,000 in small claims court, or have your attorney file suit in state or superior court.
