Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

I have a 12 month lease in the state of Georgia. My lease is going to expire May 31st my apartment complex changed ownership about 2-3 weeks ago the new owners say they are going to increase my rent but I do not agree with the amount that they are going to increase it they verbally told me how much the rent increase was going to be I asked them if my lease was ready to sign and they told me not yet. In the month of June should I pay what I've been previously paying or what they verbally told me that I should pay?
