Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

I live in a house my aunt owns and have lived here 3 plus years. I receive mail here and this is the address listed on my license. My kids have always gone to school here as well. There is no written lease agreement. I haven't been able to send her money. Now I receive a call from my mom that she is 6 hrs away and she has a letter from my aunt saying my mom can come take over the house and fix it up for new tenants and we need to relocate. Is this legal, what can I do, I have two small kids and no where to go and no money.

Sure - you don't get a free place to live forever as the owner is losing rent money. You can be evicted if the proper procedures are followed, and the first step is providing you notice. The letter you received might comply with that requirement.
