Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

Hi there I worked for an apartment complex for about a year I was given a letter in the mail stating they were terminating my employment I was given the letter April 21, 2015 and they wanted me out of my apartment by May 1, 2015. It's just not enough time to make preparations to move. What should I do.

Apartment complexes know (or should know) the notice periods that apply. Tell them that once they give you the notice required by law, you will move before that time is up.

Scott is absolutely correct

Depending on your lease or residential agreement, under the GA law, the April 21, 2015 notice by the apartment complex would "usually" allow you through June 2015 before you were required to move.
