Legal Question in Military Law in Georgia

Discharge Upgrade

I was given a geneal discharge after giving a coerced confession to a couple of OSI agents. There was no evidence, no urinalysis, and no court martial. Just my simple word of mouth and an empty eight month investigation got me a general. And on the confession paper work, the date of my offense was recorded wrong. It says it happened a full year before I even joined up. What do I do?? Does the Veterans Affairs office have the OSI investigation and confession on file? Do I have a chance at an upgrade?

Re: Discharge Upgrade

Every Service has an entity/agency to consider applications for correction of military records and/or discharge upgrades. The Army has two agencies, for instance, the Army Discharge Review Board and the Army Board for Correction of Military Records. There are websites for both which outline the procedures for application.
