You spoke to the car insurance without a lawyer?

Enjoy getting ripped off.

You have already seriously messed up. In talking to the insurer directly, without counsel, you have ripped yourself off badly. See a lawyer ASAP to see if your situation is fixable.

In many cases your health insurer would pay, and you'd pocket a check for the bills PLUS pain and suffering, and lost wages. Cease all communication with the insurer, pray you haven't already destroyed your case, and see a lawyer (feel free to call me at 404-768-3509).

Because you were injured by the negligence of another driver (as indicated on the police report taken at the scene), their insurance company is responsible for properly compensating you for your vehicle damage and injuries. You should promptly begin medical treatment for your whiplash. Typically, the insurance company will eventually reimburse you for only medical treatment expenses.

At this point, you should immediately contact an attorney to begin handling your claim to receive fair compensation for your injuries, pain and suffering - at no upfront cost to you. I will need additional information to fully assess your case. However, do not post the specifics on this public website.

Please call my office this afternoon for a free consultation and information. (404.496.4119)

Good luck.
