Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia

Can i be charged?

I work for a rent-to-own company in waycross, GA. We deal with costumers who refuse to return our property to us on a regular basis, if we cannot retrieve our merchandise, a writ is filed and the law gets involved. Today i had a customer who claims that after i ''scared her'' by taking the account legal, she tried to remove a 8000 BTU air conditioner which had been screwed into the wall at her residence. Her boyfriend claims that i caused her to become ill because she attempted to remove the air conditioner from the window. He also says that she is 5 months pregnant. Legaly are there any charges that can be brought on me, or my company. Please understand that no physical force of any kind was used in any way

thank you

Re: Can i be charged?

I cannot say for sure since I do not know all the relevant facts, but it sounds very doubtful that any valid claim could be brought for illness caused by removing the AC.
