Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia

Is it legal for a personal loan company to tell my father that my loan is almost 60 days past due and getting ready to go into collections. I am a 30 year old woman. What should I do about this?

No. Debt collectors certainly cannot share information about your debt with third-parties and creditors should not do it either.

I would write a letter to the loan company and ask them not to discuss your personal issues with any third-parties, be they relatives, co-workers, employers, neighbors or anyone else. You are obviously having financial difficulties and you should explain that as well.

If you need assistance and would like to discuss your case in confidence, I give free email consults. Pleasse contact me at [email protected] if interested.
