I bought a house in Dec. Today I found termites. I had a house inspection. What do I do.

Call the exterminator. Did you have a specific termite inspection (not just a home inspection)?

If you did not get a termite letter you have made a terrible mistake, but most lenders require a termite letter for property sold in GA. So review your paperwork and see if you have a termite letter before you get too excited. If you have a termite letter contact the termite company to see what they will do to help.

Assuming you did things right you ordered a termite letter along with the inspection (if you didn't you made a huge mistake that will be costly to you). If you did get that letter, look at it, as you will have some rights in that letter. If not, see what the terms of your home inspection contract say. If neither help you, you likely will have to pay a termite company yourself.
