My exhusband and I own our home jointly. He is living there and will not let me get any of my things and a few pieces of furniture. He will not answer calls or mail.

This should have been resolved in the divorce decree. What does the decree say about you having access to the house to obtain your possessions? What does the divorce decree say about your ex having exclusive possession to the house?

In any event, if the divorce decree is silent on the matter, you may have to go to court to sue him for your possessions. If the decree gives you access to the house, you may have to file a motion for contempt to obtain access. You should present evidence of your attempts to obtain access to the house in the motion.
