Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

A person owns 8 acres and a home which has been foreclosed upon. For some reason the mortgage company lopped off 5 acres saying that is all she financed. How can it be that they can do that without subdividing the 8 acres. I think they own the whole 8 acres since it was in one deed and never subdivided.

No one here can possibly guess what the morrtgage documents say. You would need to bring them to a lawyer to look at them. What you "think" doesn't matter. What the documents actually say does.
