Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Georgia

If somone in the office where I work is constantly talking about sex or is making sexual hints, tells you that they love you do I have a legal basis for a suit.

Not necessarily. If a co-worker (i.e., not a supervisor) is the one making these statements, you should report it to the company's human resources department (if they have one), or to management. I recommend that you put your complaint in writing and be as specific as possible, including names, dates and the offensive comments that were made. You should state that the comments were of a sexual nature, that you find them offensive, and that you believe they have created a hostile work environment for you. The company should then investigate and take steps to end the harassment. If it does not, you would then have a basis for a claim.

You have the legal basis to file a formal complaint against the aggressor/suggestor. The only way to file a suit is down the road if the harassment doesn't stop.
