Legal Question in Tax Law in Georgia

I had a state tax lien placed on me while I was deployed in a combat zone. I have asked for them to remove it from my credit report and they have refused..they have shown it as paid, but will not remove it. Since its illegal to place any type of collection or negative action against any citizen deployed in an active combat zone can I sue them to have it removed??

You cannot sue them to remove it. Showing that it is "paid" is all you will likely get at this point. Thank you for your service!

Best of luck. ******The above is for informational services only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.*******
