Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

Administrators's Deed of Assent

Heirs of a deceased persons property have been asked to sign a Quit Claim Deed releasing all rights to the property to the deceased persons spouse. The problem is, the Quit Claim Deed has a statement stating ''this is the same property conveyed to another person by an Administrator's Deed of Assent. Does this mean that the property has already been given to another person by the Deed of Assent. Thank you

Re: Administrators's Deed of Assent

Sounds like it. However, you need to have the documents reviewed to be sure. Consult with a local attorney.
