my fathers will

my father died about 5 years ago,at the time of his death he had been remarried.in his will he stated what he wanted done with his estate,which included his personal items such as his gun collection jewlry and other items to be given to his children.my stepmother has recently been remarried to my fathers best friend,and has given all of my fathers items to either her children or his buisness associates which includes several rolex watches,guns,tools and several other things.can she do this are my sisters and i entitled to a part of his estate?she refuses to tell us what she did with his things.she was married to my father for about 5 years.my mother was married to him for about 25 years.

If the will was properly probated in Georgia and the will specified that certain personal property items were to go to certain people, you may have a cause of action in the probate court in the county where the decedent was a resident. Normally a beneficiary has 10 years to enforce a will. However, it can be difficult to retrieve personal property items.
