power of attorney

my brother in law and my husband were co agents for thier mother as POA. Thier mother passed away a couple months ago and now we find out he changed titles, added his name as pod on cd and changed names on bank accounts without my husbands knowledge. Since her passing he has been able to clean out all accounts and safe dep box because of this and also the will states share and share alike between the two . HELP!!

You will need to hire an attorney in the county where all of this occurred in order to get some resolution. I believe that, based upon what you have described, you can make a good case for breach of fiduciary duty, over-reaching, self-aggrandizement etc. Go to www.naela.org and there is a "Find a Lawyer" section there. Type in the zip or the county name and contact any of the people who pop up. All should be familiar with this sort of cause of action.
