I am on workers comp for a back injury on the job---If I cant work do I still get paid?

Generally, yes. If you are receiving workers' compensation income benefits, it should continue as long as you are totally disabled from your job or if your employer is able to return you back to work within your restrictions. You will not be receiving your regular wages but workers' compensation income benefits. There may be other factors involving your entitlement to workers' compensation benefits.
