Legal Question in Personal Injury in Hawaii

I was out of work for about a month for personal injury and was seeing a PT. I had ask the PT if it was ok to go hiking during my PT. He said yes. Now I am back at work and now my job is asking for a doctor note stating that I was cleared to do hiking while I was in PT? My regular doctor cleared me to go back, but she did not think she should include the hiking part. Since this is not work related.

Simply have your Physical Therapist provide a letter explaining in detail that he/she cleared you for hiking and the benefits that could have been gained from engaging in hiking. While he/she is not a physician, they typically will recommend "home exercises" or other activities that may help to rehab you back to health. For example, they will often recommend brisk walking or swimming. This was probably why he/she authorized hiking.
