independent recruiter stiffed by large corporation
I'm located in IL. Corporate office of client in CA. Candidate is working in regional office in VA. Company won't pay me even though i sent his resume to the VP of hr for review months earlier. The candidate had someone he knew hand carry his resume to the executives of the company and they created a position for him. Now I have lost their business. I have all email's to prove everything but their in house attorney keeps saying sue us and hangs up the phone. They will kill me with legal fee's and I won't end up with anything. This is the first time that a company every stiffed me. I thought they would at least settle for a lesser fee. I found out he was working there when I called him about another position back in Aug or Sept.
