Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
What kind of fraud are you committing when you accidentally receive by fax from a bank for employment verification intended for another company, but you knowingly fill out the form negativity and falsely and sign it as that other companies president and fax it back to the bank?

It could be construed as identity fraud. The false statements might be libelous or considered interference with a business relationship.
