Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Illinois

Freedom of speech

Is there a right of the organization to reign in the speech of a member when that member writes articles in a paper then signs off on the article as part of that organization?

Re: Freedom of speech

Hello. The organization membership

can vote to bring an action in court

to injoin or bar the particular member

from making speeches and representing

that the views are those of the organization. This is really serious. I have seen situations like this before. The involvement of the entire membership in the vote is a "must". I can answer more questions if you like. Feel free to contact me.
