Legal Question in Consumer Law in Illinois

neglect

there was a piece of plastic inside a burger at a fast food restaurant. i bit into the sandwich and started chewing and chipped my back molar cut my cheek and tonsil. my dentist took x rays and saw my tooth was chipped and cracked to where ill need a crown. they have jerked me around on this since jan 4th finally today they agreed to pay the dental bill. i have trouble chewing on that side have been in pain which i told them and anything cold hurts also. my question i feel i deserve pain and suffering and i told them i didnt want to get a lawyer involved unless i thought i wasnt getting what i deserve. what is the basic rate charge ect for pain and suffering for over 2 months? my dentist can fix this for me 3/12.

Helo. This is an issue of fact for a judge or jury to determine. I suggests you get a lawyer so that you do not get "short changed" here. Loss of wages, pain and suffering, permanent injury (if any). All of these are issues. Will be happy to discuss this further and in more detail.
