Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
My 9 year Granddaughter was sexually assualted and is having to testify in court in her case even tho her testimony was video taped previously. Why are they putting her thru this ?

I am guessing that it is due to the alleged perpetrator's right to confront the witnesses against him or her. WHy don't you as kthe perpetrator?
