Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois
It has been 7 years since I went to court for disorderly conduct (breach of peace) and received a disposition from the judge to "Withhold judgement/supervision." Now that I am in grad school and one day hoping to be an exec I want this record to be expunged. I am currently living in another state for school. I understand I need to fill out a petition. Should I hire a lawyer for this process or can I do this by myself?
