Legal Question in Criminal Law in Illinois

If ur case is over and ur are awaiting sentencing do u have to file insufficient council before or after sentencing?also if u have already paid these lawyers to represent u in another case but u r filing insufficient council against them what do we do for representation for that case?

Typically, you would file a motion for a new trial alleging all of the errors that occurred in your trial and that your trial lawyer provided ineffective assistance of counsel. Contact me if you have additional questions.
