Legal Question in DUI Law in Illinois

How long does a DUI stay on your record....I was 17 had a joint in the car....went through court supervision......paid fines.....did community service.....went through driving classes......paid money to an attorney at TLC, in Edwardsville IL. Just lost a job cause this is still showing on my record.....now 22 years old with a CDL an cant get a job....I paid the fines / I dont drink and drive / was a stupid thing I did but learned from it.....how long do you get punished for this? What steps do I need to take? Should I bring this up at interviews?
