Legal Question in Elder Law in Illinois

If I have a power of attorney for my mom and my brother gets her to sign papers after this to let him be power of attorney how does this work. Do I need to have a doctor say she knows what she is doing. At the time she has been heavily medicated

Your question poses very complicated issues that cannot be fairly addressed in this simple format. I recommend that you consult with an attorney who is knowledgeable about Guardianship. Feel free to call me, if you like. I will not charge for the phone call. I always provide free consultations.
