Legal Question in Family Law in Illinois

I have 2 sons. One is 16 and the other is 18. Neither one live with their mother any longer. I rarely see them as their mother basically destroyed our relationship over the years. I just learned from my 16 year old that their mother has a drug problem, is back living with her parents and that my 16 year old had been cashing the money orders and keeping the child support. I'm not sure what I should do at this point, do I let this continue, do I stop the child support, do I put it in my sons name, do I deposit it into a separate account? He wants to stay where he is at, he doesn't want to live with us.

You need to talk to your ex and attempt to find out what is "really" going on before you do anything. You can then make a better decision as to what to do.
